etad-artho ’vataro ’yam
bhu-bhara-haranaya me
samraksanaya sadhunam
krto ’nyesam vadhaya ca
Translation:
This is the purpose of My present incarnation — to relieve the earth of its burden, protect the pious and kill the impious.
