catur-yuga-sahasram tu
brahmano dinam ucyate
sa kalpo yatra manavas
caturdasa visam-pate
Translation:
One thousand cycles of four ages constitute a single day of Brahma, known as a kalpa. In that period, O King, fourteen Manus come and go.
